My Interests

At my core I love data.  I am a huge Lean and Six Sigma enthusiast and I have taught numerous classes on both.  One of my favorite things to do is to focus on the I in IT… not just the cool technology but making sense of the petabytes of information.  I find a tremendous amount of satisfaction seeing a process perform more efficiently and accurately based upon thorough data analysis and workflow restructuring.

Though I have managed my fair share of network teams, server rooms etc… I am at my heart a software guy.  Coming from a programming background I really focus on working with operations to optimize applications.  I love the idea of seeing technology fundamentally change the way business is done.

On a personal note I am a lifelong gamer but one that plays very few video games (oddly enough).  I love table top gaming, RPGs and board games and I have been playing them for longer than I care to admit.  Additionally I love to paint, draw and write but most recently I have taken an interest in robotics, specifically as they pertain to prosthetics.
